MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK WIFI AM5 ATX Motherboard
The MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK WIFI is an ATX motherboard designed for AMD Ryzen™ 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series processors. It uses the AMD B850 chipset with an AM5 socket for modern desktop builds. Four DDR5 UDIMM slots support up to 256GB of memory. Supported speeds reach 8200+ MT/s through overclocking with compatible Ryzen 9000 processors. AMD EXPO™ and dual-channel memory support help optimize system performance. The board includes two PCIe x16 slots and one PCIe x1 slot for expansion. Its primary PCIe slot supports PCIe 5.0 x16 with supported Ryzen 9000 and 7000 processors. Storage options include three M.2 slots and four SATA 6G connectors. The main M.2 slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4 for compatible Ryzen processors. RAID 0 and RAID 1 are supported for M.2 NVMe storage devices. Networking features include 5G LAN and integrated Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Wi-Fi 7 supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands with speeds up to 2.9Gbps. Bluetooth 5.4 support adds convenient wireless connectivity for compatible devices. Audio is powered by the Realtek ALC4080 codec with 7.1-channel USB high-performance audio. The rear panel provides USB 20Gbps Type-C, USB 10Gbps ports, HDMI 2.1 FRL, and optical S/PDIF. EZ Debug LEDs and a Flash BIOS Button assist with setup and troubleshooting. The motherboard also supports Windows 11 64-bit for current desktop systems.
